Love the look of the sandal...But can't understand why they may the elastic insert so that the band can expand across the front of the foot---doesn't it make more sense to put the elastic on the side of the strap that faces the heal? People's feet get smaller as you move toward the toe--not larger. Anyway, I got a pain and a groove in my foot as soon as I put them on. Would have had to send them back if my husband hadn't been able to stretch the strap for me.

With velcro and buckle adjustments, this sandal is sure to fit. I have very wide feet, and need a shoe with good heel padding and arch support. These are better than any others I've found. They also have removable inserts so that you can use your own orthotics. Very comfortable to walk in.

I bougt this shoe because there are not many womens shoes in extra wide wdths here in northern Canada. Impossible to find a shoe thats fits in ordinary shoe stores.
