Product Description (Women's Drew Blaze)
The on-the-fly Boa® lacing system is an adjustable reel on the back of the shoe that controls ultra-thin strands of strategically placed, airplane-grade steel wires. A quick twist of the reel tightens the tiny strands and provides a unique fit that is unattainable in other comfort footwear. A simple pull on the reel releases the laces. It's the only therapeutic footwear offering the Boa® technology.
Features the Plus Fitting system, two removable footbacks for added depth, incremental adjustments for individualized fit, PI, EVA and Drilex insole, a TPU shank, a rubber outsole with an EVA midsole, an extended medial heel stabilizer, a soft, foam-radded tongue and collar, breathable mesh vamp and quarters, a rocker bottom and it accommodates prescribed orthotics.
Meets HCPCS Code A5500.
Fit: This style tends to run large. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size smaller than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7 1/2, we recommend purchasing a size 7. Disappointing Fit March 03, 2013 Reviewer: BobiB from West Coast Shoe Size: Felt half size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt wider than marked As other reviewers suggested I ordered a size smaller, didn't work. Ordered correct size only to find it felt a half size large and wider. Plus the fit wasn't right. Its arch support hit my foot in the wrong place and my foot slid forward. What happened to Drew? They usually make such a terrific show for long narrow feet. One positive, they were very light. Wears this shoe: Never

Especially like the neat way of adjusting the shoe. I plan on ordering another pair before long to wear outside -- these are my indoor shoes. Drew makes wonderful shoes! Wears this shoe: Inside all the time.

finally a bit of heavenly comfort August 11, 2012 Reviewer: ronnie from new york, new york Shoe Size: Felt half size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width Thank heavens for the reviews that said order a half size down. The shoes look big but at last I have comfort. I have many painful issues with my feet and loss of sensation, so I need a secure shoe that is easy on and off and offers support. This is the one! At last I found it. I also hope a black shoe is on the horizon. Wears this shoe: all the time

The only shoe that I can stand to wear! July 19, 2012 Reviewer: that old woman who is still going strong. from Nashville, Tennessee. Shoe Size: Felt half size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width Thank goodness for this shoe. I have to wear my whitepair all the time--literally--or my weakened, collapsed feet hurt. I wanted a black pair, too, but there are none at this time in my size. Strangers have stopped me on the street to ask about the knob, but that is just an interesting event for me. My pair work just fine. They are a substantial shoe, but my feet need to be 'HUGGED" to be comfortable. Good depth and soft padding inside. My feet have lost a lot of their natural padding and this shoe compensates for that loss. This is a winner for me! I will just buy another white pair since there are no black ones for me. Maybe another time... Wears this shoe: as soon as I put my feet on the floor in the morning and all the rest of the day

Great concept if it worked! July 07, 2012 Reviewer: Skittle0407 from NY Shoe Size: Felt half size smaller than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width I bought this sneaker because I have severe feet issues and a back problem which makes it hard to tie shoes and get the right tightness. The sneaks are heavy, stiff and the cable system loosens up while I walk making me stop to turn the dial frequently which is not serving its purpose and not saving me any time bent over! I wore this sneaker every day for several weeks and still not comfy at all. Now I wish I had not spent the money on this shoe because it fails in all areas except width. Wears this shoe: For walking my dogs every day
