The Alexis offers added depth with a removable insole. It features a firm heel counter and rocker bottom with a tempered steel shank and an EVA insole with a Nova suede top cover and leather linings. Features a zipper stretch gore closure and a soft foam padded collar for added comfort. This style can accommodate prescribed orthotics.
Fit: This style tends to run narrow, We recommend purchasing a wider width.

Runs very narrow September 09, 2011

I purchased these shoes to wear with custom orthotics. Since none of the other reviewers said that this style runs narrow, I ordered my usual medium width. I couldn't even get my foot into the shoe with the included insole. When I removed the insole and inserted my orthotic, there wasn't enough width for the orthotic to sit inside the shoe. They look comfortable, but I won't find out if that's a fact since I have to return them.

Received this item yesterday. Tried them on and was really surprised by the perfect fit. My feet hurt all the time, but these felt so comfortable I wore them all the rest of the day. No foot pain.

I have problem feet and have great difficulty finding shoes to fit. Before I got these I had ordered and returned 11 pairs of shoes that didn't fit my feet. These are perfect. My orthodics fit and the shoe is very comfortable. I constantly get compliments on them.
Wears this shoe: I can wear it with jeans, skirts, anything.

I bought the black Alexis and liked it so much that I went for the two-tone colored one. They look expensive and they fit very comfortably. I wear orthotics and my feet have plenty of room for the braces in the ww size.

This is a very comfortable shoe. It is a very sharp looking shoe whereby I can wear dress slacks with it or jeans for a more casual look.
