With all the style and heritage of the original, the Originality exercise sandal features a higher platform and enhanced benefits perfect for all-day wear. The shaped sole, with anatomical arch support, integrates cushioned, foam inserts for a lightweight and ultra-comforting fit.
Heel Height: 2 1/4"
Fit: This style is available in whole sizes only and tends to run small. If you normally order a 1/2 size it is recommended that you order the next full size up. For example, if you normally purchase a size 6 1/2 we recommend purchasing a size 7.

This is like the classic/original sandal from the 70s but with a slight platform sole and super-cushion heel that helps with impact if you're doing a lot of walking. I bought it in white first, then re-order in bronze (goes with everything) and black. Some "breaking in" time may be needed because (at least on my feet) the fresh leather can rub and irritate right where it hits the base of the top of your big toe at first.

The first pair I purchased had a defect (the sole of one shoe was not flat so the shoe "rocked" from left to right.) The replacement pair are fine - lightweight, comfortable, and in keeping with the Dr. Scholl tradition of sensible, foot friendly sandals. New technology has added the benefit of feather-weight, shock-absorbing materials for the main part of the sandal and sole. The leather upper is soft and flexible. The strap adjusts but you may find your foot is a width between the riveted holes. Wear it tighter, it will stretch a little! Overall a value for money sandal.

I have VERY high arches (so high that you only see the 'ball' and 'heel' of my foot on imprints, hardly anything else). These shoes are GREAT for me... they have a really nice arch area and they have a padded heal area. VERY COMFORTABLE!! THey are a little tight across the top of my foot but well worth it and able to 'stretch' the area (or move the "buckle" down a notch).

I returned the first pair I bought that was an 8 which is what I normally wear with a bunion on one foot. The 7 is perfect and it's probably the only 7 I own. They are comfortable and I wear them every chance I get.
