The Original Wood Exercise Sandal by Dr. Scholl's features a wood finished bottom on a 1 1/4 inch heel with a contoured arch supported footbed. The outsole has a rubber composite bottom for traction.

Fit: This style tends to run small. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size larger than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7, we recommend purchasing a size 7 1/2.

I have been wearing Dr. Scholls exercise sandals for over 30 years. They are the most comfortable shoes I own. They have wonderful instep support and feel as though they are part of your foot.

I have two pairs, I'm going to order another pair. I have the white 2in and red 1in, love them both. Very happy with the size. It's just like the first Dr. Scholls I had in the 80's. Well made also.

I am very pleased with my purchase of the original wooden Scholl's sandals. Please continue to have these available, and in many colors! Do not discontinue, or phase them out! Also these wooden ones are superior to the new ones that are available made out of a foamy rubber that are called "Dr scholl's original 2.0"
