Bad Change Dr. Scholls`s Sandal September 22, 2012

I am very disappointed in the change in this classic shoe. I have worn them continuously since they first came out. The best thing about them is the complete wooden structure. Living in Florida, I need the coolness of the wood. I dislike the added insole as it makes them no cooler than my other shoes. Are the classics available anywhere. Can I remove the added rubber? I want my old style back!! After 30 years, I hate this change.

I've been having some pain in my foot for which I visited my podiatrist. He gave me shots in my foot and suggested I wear a shoe with a hard bottom that didn't go between my toes. So I thought from back in the day I use to love my Dr. Scholl's. So I searched and was very happy to find them; new and improved. I ordered them in navy suede and they are very comfortable and also very cute. I'm in love all over again!!

This version of the Dr. Scholl's classic sandal is fantastic. The soles are flexible and light. The upper is soft and broke in easily.

I used to wear Dr. Scholl's back in the '70s and loved them then...Now the heel is sort of padded so they are even more comfortable.. Same simple look
