These might be too high for me

I think these run true to UK sizing. The heel is stable, but it's higher than I expected. The description states that the heel is 3.5 inches, but it somehow seems higher and makes my trousers appear too short. I'm used to wearing pumps in that same height, so this is a comparative observation. Perhaps the block heel with the thick sole on the forefoot are to blame. I haven't decided whether to keep these shoes because of this. The shoes seem well-made, though.

Low Heel Docs

I love this shoe. It is sleek with a narrower, feminine line and a low heel. It's taking me a few weeks to break in the area that rubs just below the achilles tendon but knowing how long these shoes will last, I consider it a brief annoyance. (I have several pairs of docs. I bought these to replace the ones I wore pretty much everyday for 5-6 years because they're not that nice for work anymore. Trust me when I say they last.) These shoes are comfortable to walk in for long periods of time.

The heels are high, but they feel like they are shorter because of the construction. They are very easy to walk in. I really love them, besides theylook awesome.
Wears this shoe: I wear them as often as I can.
