Dr. Martens Naseby ST 4 Tie Shoe
OUCH!!

I really want to like this shoe. The idea of a steel toe that could seamlessly transition from the job site to the conference room was very appealing. These shoes are heavy, but most steel toe shoes/boots are, so I wasn't too upset about that. However, the steel toe hits the top of my toes more than most others I have owned, creating some discomfort. Worst part is that the tongue has these little sideflaps that attach them to the top of the shoe, presumably to keep out water. However, the thickness of these flaps creates a bulge on between the top of you foot and the underside of the shoe top that HURTS. If I wear these for more than two days in a row I can barely walk. I have worn them for about a month hoping to break them in, but they seem to get more and more uncomfortable. Wish I could return them but I may just have to eat the cost on these ones since Shoebuy's policy only allows returns on unworn shoes. :( The only pair of uncomfortable Dr. Martens I have ever owned.
