I bought these to replace a pair of Merrells which barely lasted a year...never again. I hadn't worn a pair of Dr. Martens for a while and forgot why I love them so much. They felt comfortable from the first moment I put them on. I do find that they feel a little wide but I have fairly narrow feet. I also put insoles inside to add a little cushion because the inner sole on these is a bit hard. The outer soles are FANTASTIC and so comfortable even for long walks with the dog. I'll be curious to see how they do in the rainy season although I'm not too worried...they are Doc Martens after all! I recommend these shoes highly! BTW - I normally wear a US 10-10.5 and Dr. Marten size 9 fits perfect.

I got this for my husband who normally wears an 11.5 US which we can never find. I ordered the 12 (i dont think docs come in half sizes)and it was perfect. He loves them!

I have to admit, I like to keep the costs down when it comes to footwear, but you reach a point when you have to invest in how good a shoe can make you feel at the end of the day.These Dr. Marten's slip-ons are it.My journey began at the mall, where we found a similar style. They were the most comfortable shoe I have ever put on my foot. You could feel the quality carefully stitched into them. Unfortunately,they did not have my size, and to honest, the price was past my expense limit by twenty bucks. So we took a gamble and searched online and found this pair at shoebuy.com. With free shipping and a free return policy, how could you beat that?How about a sale price on the shoes?I bought these shoes for around twenty-two bucks less than the mall price. My only gamble was the sizing. I heard Dr. Martens typically run one full size bigger than they are listed. Against my better judgment I did what the sales clerk told me to do and ordered just that way, and awaited the day they would arrive on my doorstep.I opened the box and again I could see the quality. I put them on and they fit great. Perhaps a tiny bit snug, but after three weeks of wearing them at work they have form fit my feet and feel like an extension of my body. My arches are higher than normal and my foot is wider too, but there is plenty of space, comfort and support to get me through the day.I find myself not immediately kicking them off as soon as I get in the door and that says a lot.
