Product Description (Women's Dr. Martens Tadita 6-Tie Boot)

The Tadita is a 6-eye premium British Workwear style boot. It has a blackened look on heel and toe area and has the 'V14' sole; lower profile originals. This is a leather-welted product. The upper and sole are sewn together, not merely glued, like many footwear constructions, and are also heat-sealed. It also has the original Dr. Martens air-cushioned sole, providing underfoot comfort and durability since 1960. It is oil- and fat-resistant, tough and offers good abrasion and slip resistance.

So, I really wanted ankle boots, but I have really small ankles, so most boots fall right off my feet. These are great because they tie up really tight and force my feet to stay in. I also really like the style. They aren't very heavy like most Docs are. They also have an old fashioned look to them. I live in a wet climate, so didn't wear them until I was advised how to care for the leather. It is heavily recommended that you treat the leather with weatherizing spray (the leather man recommended a non-aerosol spray) and it is pretty important to keep polishing them because the leather scuffs pretty easily. But, I love the old fashioned look to them and when I wear them with dresses and skirts I get a lot of compliments!!!
Wears this shoe: all the time.
