I bought these boots for a motorcycle class that required boots that cover the ankle. I'm not the motorcycle "type", so I wanted something for more than riding, such as work. They are a great shoe for both. I wore them all day the first day, with no problems. I thought since I don't normally wear boots, it would rub around my ankle, nope.
