I chose this shoe because I know that Dr. Martens last forever. I also chose this shoe because in my opinion it is the best looking black dress shoe I could find. I usually wear a size 8, so I ordered a size 8 and it felt a little big, so I sent that pair back for a size 7 and they fit beautifully. The shoes are not the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn, dress shoes aren't always that comfortable for me to begin with, so for a dress shoe, it actually feels pretty good. And the more I wear them, the better they feel. I would like to stress again that I think this is the most attractive dress shoe. I love them. You can't beat the style and look of Dr. Martens. I wear this shoe pretty much all day once a week and for a few hours another once or twice a week.

Dr. Maretens are great in any variety, period. Whoever is churning them out now is keeping to the tradition of quality that is Dr. Martens. They are my new best friend. We go everywhere together.

My husband loves Dr. Martens' for work. Now he is in a position where he needs durable and professional in one shoe. This is it. Just like any other pair of Dr. Martens', there is an initial break-in period that lasts only a couple of days. It has great tread design. He all-around loves this shoe!

This is my third pair of these, the last pair I bought was about four years ago, then they were made in England instead of China. They seem to be of the same quality, and comfort. Overall, I'm happy to have bought them again.
