I have two pairs of doc martens and I would by a third very easily. I really, really love the shoes. The two pairs fit differently but I don't mind at all. Absolutely love them! Doc martens are very very comfortable especially since I have wide box like feet and its hard to find shoes that run wide enough for my foot.

I bought these shoes because I wanted comfort and the knowledge, I am actually getting something that will last me for a while. The past shoes I have been paying for recently before I made the purchase had simply not been up to decent quality. The first week was the only week where you had to put up with the discomfort of having to wear them in. I wear these shoes to industrial sites, office and just for walking. These shoes are very comfortable, and I wear them up to 9-10 hours a day, once you wear them in.All in all, these aren't the most shiny or attractive shoes, but they are comfortable and durable. I have been wearing them for 7 months now and they are still going strong.

These shoes were great right out of the box. I walk a minimum of a mile and half a day to and from trains, work, etc. and didn't have any break-in issues with these compared with other Docs I've had. The DM wingtips are a perfect in-between shoe for not being too casual and not being too dressy. I also bought a pair of the brown ones.Most people say to size down if you're a half size and that's never worked for me. For me a half size down is a bit too narrow - and in my experience, Docs don't stretch much in width - and a half size up is a tad long, but I throw in a gel insole to make up the space and they're perfect.
