These boots are great! I was a little scared when I ordered my exact size because I thought I was going to need a size bigger.. Turns out it fit me just perfect. 1490's Dr. Martens are the best for true size. The only minor thing was breaking them in.. but that's no problem after a week in my opinion. All in all great shoes!

I love them, had a pair when I was a teenager got too small for me so I gave them up. These are a wonderful replacement, of course getting them broke in is the hard part, but that's with any good boot.

I was worried about buying these online without trying them on, but I bought an 8 and they fit like 8s fit normally. I like these much more than the 1460 Docs because they have an unfinished/unstitched top edge which looks more attractive when on. They do take awhile to break in in the ankle area, but they're worth wearing during icy conditions, even if they aren't broken in yet, because the tread is great. The only thing I do not like about these shoes as compared to the original Dr Martens made in England is that the stitching looks kind of bad comparatively, but not bad enough that I'm unhappy. Overall, I was very happy with my purchase from Shoebuy.com and my shoes even came a day earlier than expected, which is always a plus.
