The Elevate collection effortlessly continues Dr. Martens foray into the high-heeled arena. This boot carries a raised wedge heel and a brand new sole for slip resistance. It features Dr. Martens signature grooving and a level of comfort that belies high heels. The sole is hard-wearing, with good abrasion. It's also cemented to the base of the upper. The lightweight upper has a polished finish giving this trendy shoe a refined look. The Marcie is a 10-eye boot with a zipper for easy of use. The lace up design gives this boot a combat inspired style, but with serious sophistication.

The truth is they're not great..... they're AWESOME!! They are SO amazingly comfortable that I just can't get over it - it's like walking on cushions. It's hard to believe that such a sexy, funky, WAY COOL boot can be so comfortable! They look fantastic with my skinny jeans - I just love them! The leather is perfectly smooth and, yes, slightly stiff at the top of the boot at first, but they're very comfortable out of the box and after wearing them a few times they start to mould to your ankle and soften up and just get better and better. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

This boot is great. The look of it is exactly what I wanted, kinda bad-ass, but still reasonable enough to wear to my office workplace under slacks. The wedge heel is perfect, and after hours in these shoes, they were still totally comfortable. (Note that the heel is definitely a light grey, nothing like the black leather of the upper. The look is fine with me; just don't expect it to be all black.) My only beef is that the leather is a bit stiff - I was kind of hoping for a softer, more lived-in Docs kind of feel. If you want a boot that makes a statement but can get you through a workday, too, these are the ones. I can't wait to rock them with a skirt!

Very very comfortable. They are the perfect height to be comfortable. The material of the sole has a little give to feel like you are walking on air but looks like it will wear well. Once I get to the office (I walk to work), I sometimes just leave the boots on because they look fine with pants and are so much more comfortable than my 'big girl shoes'.
