This is my second pair of Doc's. The first pair lasted 10 years before the heels got worn down so far they became uncomfortable to walk in.I like that the soles and thread are black, and not yellow. It has great anti-static qualities. All of my other shoes will allow my body to build up static electricity until I ground myself on a piece of metal like a door knob. These shoes, as well as my other Doc's never let me get shocked by static electricity. Also, they are extremely long wearing and has classic good looks. What I don't like is t he break in period and not having any width choices. I would definitely buy these again after wearing them everyday for the past three weeks.
