I work in retail and I walk on a hard wood floor for at least 9 hrs. a day... I wear this boot all day, even running errands at lunch! The leather is a little thinner than the typical Dr. Marten but it also has to give in order to be comfy! Fabulous boot, more comfortable than my Tall Billy Frye Boots! Buy them NOW!

Love this shoe, comfortable and looks good. Only problem is the circumference of the top of the boot. I have muscular calves, so the boot is definitely tighter on me, but the laces allow you to loosen the top.

Let me state first that I am pleased with my purchase. The boots are beautiful and seem well-made. However, do not expect these to be the standard heavier leather of other Doc boots. These are thinner, more supple leather than one would find on traditional 20-eyes. More of a fashion boot than heralds its working class roots.
