Love docs. Worn them for about 20+ years. This is more refined looking than the usual doc boot. These feel big. Probably because I can't tighten them up. When worn with thicker socks my legs look weird (wanted to wear them with skirts too). Finally figured out a solution. Thick sole socks and fold the tops down. Works pretty well. I docs because they don't take in water and I can walk forever in them. These have the added advantage of being sleek looking.
