I typically wear a womans 8.5 or 9. Since there was no half sizes I went with the womans 9. After recieving the shoe, I realized it technically is a mans shoe. With that said, the size was a size too big. It was a mans 8, I wear a mans 7. I think with a pair of thick socks it will work though. I thought wearing a steel toe shoe would be heavy... Nope, it feels like a typcial Doc Marten shoe.

Needed some steel toes for work and as I would wear this boot for 40 plus hours a week I wanted a good comfortable pair. Wore Dr. Martens for years so these were an easy choice for me, very comfortable and the toe doesn't bite into your foot even when squatting down. The industrial line has a little more padding around the ankle (not much more) than a regular DM but it makes a difference). Greeat boot, buy them.

The shoe is sharp looking many compliments from both guys and gals. For a work boot it has less padding than the boots I normally wear, that is why the shoe feels an extra half size longer. There is adequate room in the toe area. I prefer to wear these in the summer since they breath. So far the slip proof sole has held up, but they are slippery on some tile or smooth concrete floors that are wet so I would not wear these in the winter. For the quality I would give these a 4 out of a 5.
