I searched and searched for a pair of women's desert boots that felt comfortable. Found a men's size that works for me perfectly. These Doc Martens do the trick..so much so that I bought a second pair in another color. Love that the sole is one piece with no real heel to trip me up!

I have slightly larger than normal calves and these fit with medium to even bulky socks. The bottom of the boot is plenty roomy for bulky socks- but not too loose with just tights.They are super comfy and so pretty. I wear them with skirts- but they can just barely fit over my tightest jeans so I can wear them that way too. They are my favorite boot and I may buy them in the other colors.

My 14 yo. daughter finally fell in love with Dr. Marten's. I own three pairs of Dr. M shoes so I know how comfortable and stylish they are. I used to buy boots for my daughter when she was little, but she started to grow and said she didn't like this brand anymore. After I kept insisting that she give Dr. M a try she liked the style and absolutely loves the comfort. She is now saving up for a pair of mary janes or sandals for next summer.
