These did not need the standard break in period, they were comfortable right out of the box.

My husband was in the search of another pair of Dr. Martens for himself, and he made the comment that he would only purchase that particular brand from now on. So, I just decided to try them as well. I do love them so much! I purchased the black Cissie Mary Jane. They look great with a boot cut jean. Although, I first purchased a US 8 (which is what I usually wear) and had to return them for a US 7. Wasn't sure how to rate the "felt true to size, felt full size smaller or larger", because the US 7 DOES feel true to that size marked, but I wear a size US 8 in almost every other brand of shoe. The fit ended up being great, but you might need to experiment with the size you wear in Dr. Martens.

The shoes are very cute and comfortable. Great for standing all day at work.Looks good with pants as well as dresses.
