I like the style of the shoe and the heel and it was very affordable. It feels a little more narrow than what I thought and the sole isn't as comfortable-maybe I need to break them in some more or get insoles. The shoe overall is good. I'm thinking I just need to break it in a little more and get some insoles.

I wear an 8.5, so I had to order a 9, since Docs don't come in half sizes. I had to put in adhesive heel pads, as well as arch support pads, plus wear 2 pairs of socks for them to work for me. They're also very, very heavy. The first week, I ended up with blisters on my big toes. I do a lot of walking on the job - some days I can walk up to ten miles managing my area, and the weight of the shoes is no good on one of those long days. They are very cute, would probably look great with jeans, but they're just not the right shoe for me. I would not recommend Docs to anyone who wears a half size. Because I spent the money, I'm going to continue wearing them to work, but the moment they start to show any wear and tear, I'm ordering another pair of Rockport Works.

I purchased the Mary Janes to wear to work and also leisure wear. I am on my feet 8 hours a day at work. The first day I wore the Mary Janes, it felt like I had worn the shoes for months. The shoe is a true to fit, and the heel is great, it is just the right height, and also the clasp is wider than a normal shoe clasp which helps with a comfortable fit over the top of the foot.

These shoes are so cute and comfortable right out of the box. I got them for a NYC vacation, as I wanted a pair of "fun" shoes. The only part that rubbed my foot was the strap on the right shoe, at the top inside. I had to loosen that one a notch, but now that I have worn them a bit, and I have tightened them again. Overall, I'd say these are great shoes that I will get a lot of enjoyment out of (besides I'm a big mary jane fan).
Wears this shoe: ...to work, after work, the weekends, and on vacation; w/pants & skirts!
