I got the cherry red color, which is my absolutely favorite color of shoe! Whenever I see that color I get the shoe. The only thing about dr. Marten's is that they take awhile to break in! I had to wear band-aids on my achilles heel because I developed blisters. But my feet are fine and now the shoes are comfortable.

I purchased two pairs of these shoes, the Doc Martens Gibsons, in pewter and in white. I have been looking for the perfect white shoe ever since I graduated. I wanted them just like our band shoes. All of these years I just couldn't find them. The other styles of white oxfords just didn't get it. These are perfectly on the mark! The pewter is out of this world. It takes a self-confident woman who likes to be different to wear a pair of these babies, and I get so many compliments. As for comfort, if you've ever slid your foot into a pair, I don't have to tell you a thing. If you haven't, try a pair of them on - any style. Doc Martens are Doc Martens, period.
Wears this shoe: Anytime I can and for any ocassion.

These shoes look great and fit well. But - when I first put them on they hurt my feet! Fortunately I was able to break them in, in about 10-12 hours. I bought them due to the Doc Martin image of strength and character and I have received many compliments on how they look.
