This shoe features a safety steel toe cap, Dr. Martens air-cushioned sole for additional shock absorption, resistance to oil, fat, petrol, alkali as well as slip resistant. This shoe also discharges static build-up through the shoe to the floor and therefore reduces accumulation of excessive static build-up, and offers enhanced weather protection and resistance from the water absorption by the use of water resistant uppers.

This is my first pair of Dr. Martins and I'm really impressed. The quality is obvious. Thick leather, quality stitching, durable sole. I was worried that they would be hard on my feet at first but they broke in quickly. Despite the weight (they are heavy), they are very easy on the bottoms of your feet.

This shoes do not hold your heel well. Give it time so the shoe can flex. It could cause blisters for some people. I love this company but they need to fix this. There is no heel support at all.

Pros:Soft insoles: very soft and absorbs shocks!; overall materials provide Static Dissipative (my work requires removal of electronic equipment: no more static shocks!); outer leather provides Water Resistance; Steel Toe provides foot protection from fallen heavy objects; outer soles are thick and Slip Resistant, should provide years of wear and tear.Cons:Takes a few days to break in; leather material is a bit stiff and rigid (but will become flexible and soften with subsequent wear); the heavy weight may be noticeable to some people but it feels well built.
Wears this shoe: Everyday; 8hrs/day.
