I could not find Dr Marten Hikers so I bought this pair since they are so similar to the Hikers. They are just about as comfortable as the Hikers. Maybe Dr Marten stopped making the Hikers. I have to wear Dr Martens because they are wide enough to fit my insoles and inserts that are attached to my insoles. The color is the same as my old Hikers. The fit is the same as my old Hikers. I am satisfied with this shoe. But, I will always wish I had a new pair of Dr Marten Hikers.
Wears this shoe: I wear this shoe every single day of my life.

This boot is very cushy and comfortable, but I gave it 4 stars because there's a part of it near the roof of the toe that really irritates my feet when I wear them. I work in a warehouse and do a lot of walking in these. Other than that they're great and I get a lot of compliments on them.

I will use these for hiking as they have a comfortable feel as do all Dr Marten's that I have bought in the past. Several people remarked on the good looks of this boot as well, and asked what brand they are. I would buy them again.

Size: Florsheim, A&E in dress boot & shoe I am a 8.5 EEE, These DOCS are regular width only. So I bought the UK 8/ USA 9..the width is great and so is the length. Footbed is glued in, the socks were thick but not hiking types. I pounded the pavement in Brisbane in these Docs for hours... Excellent feel & no break-in required. I have feet issues from a MVA... these boots are GREAT comfort & look trendy with the stitching/colour.
Wears this shoe: Casual with shorts/jeans sightseeing. Great for pavement.

I bought these as a gift for my husband. He has several other pairs of Dr. Marten's but has a favorite black pair that he wanted in brown. I couldn't find the same one and opted to go with these, and he loves them! He says they are comfortable and warm, and I think they look great.
