I have been an avid Dr Marten shoe owner and these slip on shoes are just what I wanted. They are perfect for walking because of the softness and flexibility. Although the width feels a bit wider it doesn't give me any problems. I just need to wear thicker socks. I've been asked from work where I bought them.

The peanut-colored version of these shoes that I bought looked okay, wearable. They're comfortable, certainly more so than most non-sneakers, but I had to return them. The reason is that they are wide, like duck feet. There's just lots of extra material around the toe area of the foot, which was annoying because the toe was a little snug for me. Since my legs are thin, this made me look like I was wearing pancakes or flippers on my feet.

I would highly recommend Dr Martens--No break-in and felt like bedroom slippers first time on, great padding with no laces. I liked them so well that I bought two pairs of black and brown.
