Non-steel, 6" lace-up boot is slip resistant and approved for electrical hazard conditions. Contoured full cushion insole. Full quarter and vamp lining. Patented air cushion sole resists oil, fat, acid, petrol and alkili. Leather: Industrial Greasy is a full-grain leather with integral oiling which gives the surface an oily feel and robust nature. Sole/Stitching: HUD sole.

These shoes appear to be well constructed and should last a long time. They are very lightweight and very comfortable. I live in Florida and when it's hot out this type of boot is usually too warm, but my feet don't get hot in these. I also usually have trouble putting this type of footwear on, but the laces/opening in this boot is low enough and wide enough to make it easy going.
Wears this shoe: I use these when I am riding a motorcycle, but they would be good work boots too

For regular wear this would be a good boot. Comfortable - good sole. But put to work and you will note the padded collar is some thin plastic "leather" that tears at the stitches pretty quickly.

Dr. Martin's are UK sizes and you have to understand how they fit to American shoes.

I bought these for work because I need a sturdy shoe with good support and that will last me some time. So far they are working out great.

They are well built, comfortable, with a soft sole, too soft for some construction, but great if you're on concrete floors all day.
