Good for all day standing on a hard floor. I've had a few pairs of Doc wook boots. This is my favorite style for day to day use during the past many years. The thick soles keep well over time, but will get a bit slick in old age. I only wish the ankle cuff came around the front a little further.These are HEAVY shoes: the pair is about 4 pounds at UK size5. They feel as sturdy as they are - Best for standing and/or walking. I use them while standing at & operating printing and office equipment. The greasy black looks pretty good with everything. I've bought them before and I'll buy them again. I LOVE these shoes.

These boots were a good buy. No break in time required. Comfortable from the start. This was actually my second pair and I would buy them again. They are very durable and comfortable.

If you're on your feet all day on concrete, and a big man, this boot is for you. I've been buying this same boot for several years now. It's the most comfortable boot I've ever worn, yet holds up to everyday wear on the factory floor under a 6'2, 300 lb "load". No break-in period. This is the last boot you will ever buy. As long as they keep making them, I'm buying them. Highly recommend both the boot and the website.
