I was looking for boots to wear on our shop floor as steel toes are mandatory and although these boots look great and are top quality, the leather is unfortunately too stiff for me and end up pushing in whenever they bend. I'm sure it would be a matter of breaking them in, but I couldn't imagine wearing them daily until the leather softens enough. I would not recommend them for occasional use.

I wear them for 8-9 years now. One pair lasts me approximately one year, I am carpet cleaner and de-greaser dissolves bottom of boots. But I am not complaining. They do need cushion inside so I always buy Dr. Scholls inner cushion. Steel toes are just for looks and can't be used for safety purposes, BUT it did save my toes ones from being chopped off ones. At this moment I own 3 pairs which I use for different purposes and looking to buy new one again. Friendly warning, they will squeak when new but after a while they will stop.
Wears this shoe: Always. Work, yard work, etc

Nice weight to them. No padding or cushioning whatsoever, which I guess is normal for this brand, but definitely needs an add-in sole. Quality material and construction. Overall I am pleased with my purchase. They are big for the listed size, so I did order a size smaller than usual and they do fit nicely, so I recommend doing so as well.

I have worn these boots to work almost every day for 5 years. The tread is just now starting to wear smooth on the bottom. I'm in the military but in a branch where they don't care what boot, as long as it is black and polishable. Unfortunately, since these are steel toe, I will no longer be able to wear them as we are changing our regs to the wear of black, polishable, composite toe safety boots. I'll still wear them, just not to work though. I've worn them to concerts, around the farm, and even polished them up real nice and wore them to a Mardi Gras ball one year. I love them and will never get rid of them.

I like doc marten type so enjoy the stability and heaviness of the shoe. This model exudes heaviness and a punk attitude. Right one squeaks and sounds like it's coming from tongue and upper friction. Chinese production so finish may be at fault. Leather feels more like vinyl than my friend's same style from few years ago made in uk.
Wears this shoe: Concerts. Fall. Spring. When style & stability matter. In bad neighborhoods.
