Leather: Grizzly is tumbled and "hot stuffed" for softness while maintaining a rugged full-grain appearance
Sole/Stitching: BEX sole with Yellow Z Stitch. BEX is a basic, welted pattern that is inspired by outdoor, luggy waffle bottoms. Based on the BEN bottom, this is one of Dr. Martens' best-selling styles and has a heavy, deep-cleated pattern.

I love these shoes. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned and they are very stylish. Yes, big and clunky, but adorably so. I have flexible fallen arches, so I had to install an arch support, but they're perfect with an off-the-rack insert that I've used in other shoes. My feet don't drop, roll, or feel unstable in any way. These shoes sport nicely flexible soles, but not overly so. They're heavy enough to plant firmly, but not so much as to be exhausting.

When I first received the shows, I had to send them back because they were entirely too big. They are very comfortable. I love the look. They polished easily. I really like them and feel they will last a long time as well as remain fashionable.
