I bought this shoe for my daughter's birthday as she was starting a new job (nurse) and needed a pair of shoes that would support her big foot.It did the trick and she loves the feel of the shoe, plus the fit is great, and best of all, her future husband said that they were the best looking Dr. Marten's he had ever seen!This worked out great for all of us.

Although this shoe is prety heavy, the toe box is nice and wide. I usually wear a 15 x-wide in other brands, but the Docs are nice and roomy even though they're not especially made for wide feet.

When lacing I skip one of the eyelets and bought brown laces instead of the yellow and brown that are furnished.In every way it's a wonderfully comfortable shoe.
