Ordered a UK 12 (US 13) wished i had ordered UK 13 (US 14). Other than that they are very lightweight. We'll see how they hold up in the machine shop after a few months.

The shoe seemed a little larger than I expected, has plenty of toe room. The composite toe is light and easier to walk in than steel toe boots.

I am totally satisfied with this purchase. They feel a little stiff at first and it took a few days to break them in. They are also a bit roomy in the steel-tip, but this is a characteristic I generally like in my footwear. If these shoes last as long as all the other pairs of Doc Martens I've owned, I should still be happily wearing them in a couple years.

It took 3 pairs before I got a size that worked for me. I stuck it out because I specifically wanted brown leather boots with a composite toe (uniform requirement). They needed an insole to give me the arch support I like but other than that they are good looking, comfortable, light work boots. No problems with returns though.

This boot looks and FEELS great! I like lots of toe room and it provides it -- along with toe protection, which is non-metallic! FYI, I don't wear it for construction work (I'm a retired Air Force officer!) -- I wear it because it looks great, feels great and, well, it's a Doc!
