I have previously owned Docs, so I knew I would like them. Doc steel toes are a bit on the heavy side, but I am used to wearing them. I like the style, feel, and quality of the shoes. They also last a very long time. It would be helpful if the website stated what industry standards the shoes met. It took some research on other sites to make sure these shoes met the ASTM industrial standards for steel toe shoes. My workplace requires that the shoes meet the ASTM.

I bought this shoe for work, I seem to go through a pair of another brand every four months or so, so I wanted something that would last and Dr.Marten's have a great reputation. They are quite a bit big, so definitly order a size down. They are very comfortable once I got used to them, but they did require some getting used to. All in all its a great shoe. I've worn them for a week now and no scuffs yet, which is very rare for me, I'm not easy on shoes. I would recomend them.

Dr. Martens have always been my work shoe of choice. No breaking in of the shoes. Wear well. I have tried other shoes and boots and have come back to Dr. Martens.

I ordered these for my husband and he seems to be pretty happy with them. They are definitely better looking than most steel-toed shoes, and he loves the comfort of Dr. Martens.
