Have always worn docs. These are a somewhat new edition to the classic 1461 -- not exactly black/noir, closer to gray. They are made in Asia, NOT in England as the OGs. Almost feel the same. Time will tell if they wear the same. Happy so far. Thanks ShoeBuy!
