I work in the front office of a manufacturing plant and all employees are required to have steel toed, non-slip shoes while in the manufacturing areas. I spend more time in the front office than on the shop floor but I am on the shop floor everyday. I wanted a safety shoe that met our PPE requirements and yet was stylish and comfortable enough for business casual dress as well. I have been wearing Dr. Martens for four years and I was so happy with them I want to replace them with the exact same shoe. I am very happy with the shoe and even the new ones I could wear for 14 hours on day one with no break in issues.

This shoe is of very high quality. It feels tough and the workmanship is evident. The shoe, like all Dr. Martens, is heavy, heavier than most. But again, this is due to the high built quality and you forget about this aspect quickly when they are on your feat. This is probably due to the fact the shoe still extremely comfortable and stylish.

This is my third pair of Doc Martens safety shoes. They are the most comfortable safety shoes I have ever worn. I also find their styling to be contemporary and fit well within the engineering office where I work. Two thumbs up.

This is probably the best shoe I've ever purchased. Aside from being a nice neutral black, it seems extremely well made; it's comfortable even after walking three miles; and the padded ankle ring ensured I didn't have to break it in at all.
