This beautifully crafted 12" Gel ICE Work Western boot is just the style you're looking for. Features the Ultra Welt™ with Gel-Cell insole. The Ultra Welt™ system works with the Gel-Cell insert for more comfort all around. An extra Gel-Cell is inserted in the Vitalize™ insole giving you cushion in the ball of the foot. The Gel-Cell is a non-memory polymer gel insert that adds comfort by reducing heel strike, and added value by eliminating the need for additional comfort inserts. Also Features the DRYZ®innovative insole system that absorbs moisture and molecularly converts it into a dry gel within the insole of the shoe. As a result, the insole absorbs all the moisture from perspiration throughout the day, yet remains dry to the touch. The Vitalize™ comfort layers consist of a Vitalize Orthobed for shock absorption and climate control, and a stability board for firm protection on tough landings. This dual component system adds comfort and strength for your feet.

I bought these boots for my husband. upon hearing that you should order a size larger we did. They fit great, and he says they are the most comfortable boots he has EVER owned!

We ordered this boot for my husband because he has had Double H boots in the past and loved them so much more than any other work boot that he owns (and he only wears boots, so he has lots to compare them to). He loves them! Wears them every day to work and often shines them up and wears them out too!

Review:This review is for the DH 1552 Size 11B. I paid $135.00 or $140.00 from Shoebuy.com which includes shipping both ways. I have a high arch, narrow foot and heel.This boot fits great!I wore them in the house for a week before deciding how they would feel under normal walking and working situations.This is my first pair of DH, typically I wear Tony Lamas (TL). The last pair of TL I purchased were 18 months ago. They just didn't hold up at all. The price was the same, so I would like to do a comparison between the two.I noticed that the leather on the DH seems thicker and a lot better quality. The shafts of both DH and TL are lined, but only the DH's have taped seams in the shaft. Usually I have to sand and oil the seams on my TL's so they don't rub my ankles.The heel counter on the TL's are soft and lack support, as opposed to the DH which are semi rigid and provide good support. The sole of the TL's are rubber and more flexible, so intially they seem more comfortable, but over time they lack much needed support. I am in my boots all day long, everyday.The DH's have a polyurethane sole as told to me by DH. I am not sure of the hardness, but they provide good traction in snow. A little less than the TL, but not enough difference to consider passing up on purchasing them.All in all the DH are a 9 and the TL's are a 5 on 1-10 scale. With 10 being the higest.I would like to see DH provide a care sheet. Thanks, I would definity purchase them again. Shoebuy CS was great.
