The shoe looked good but the left one rubbed my heel. Don't think it was shoes fault but my sensitive feet.

I bought this shoe in olive drab for use in extreme tropical climate conditions (trekking through the jungles of Southeast Asia). I was so impressed with the construction of this shoe that upon my return to the States I purchased another pair and kept them in the box for my return to Asia this year. Then I found them offered in brown so I bought a third pair. In the winter here I wore them with socks. Otherwise barefoot is the way to go. I got rid of all my other shoes and where these or go barefoot. The soles are excellent for rock climbing incidentally. And if you step in water it rolls right out and does not affect the function of the shoe. I can't recommend these highly enough.

These sandals look good, fit well and are very comfortable BUT ONLY to have on. If I wear them for an hour or more, I got terrible calf and foot cramps that night and the next day. The only time I ever got cramps is after wearing them, and never with any other shoe, sandal, or barefoot. Happened enough to be sure that the cause is these particular sandals and nothing else.

I really like the fact that I can wear this sandal with my orthotics. That's why I bought it -- because it had a 'T-strap' or whatever they call that vertical strap in the back. That keeps the orthotic from sliding out of the shoe. Quite comfortable although it feels a little large and my foot slides around a bit. I'd buy them again, although I'd probably order the next-smaller size.
Wears this shoe: Whenever I have the chance.
