Second pair of these exact shoes purchased. Wore them everyday for 14 months as a dress shoe. As with any shoe, they started to look worn. Would still be wearing them except the insole began to shred after 14 months. The cost of a new pair was barely more than the cost of a new set of insoles. I may get a set of cheap insoles to put in the old ones because they are broken in great and still have sole and upper left. The new ones feel like my favorite slippers after just one day. I almost bought 3 sets this time to ensure I will always have a pair to wear.

I like the style and size of these shoes, but I do not recommend buying them. The leather on the trim around the top of the shoe (above the toes) is so thin that it tore off in spots after three days, revealing white gaps and making the shoes useless for anything but gardening. This leather is maybe 1 mil thick (1/1000 of an inch), the thickness of a plastic bag, and rips at even the slightest touch. Thinking this was an isolated event and not worth arguing over, I paid for a second set. Guess what? Same thing. Even though I was very careful, the "leather" tore within a couple of days. Now I have two sets of these shoes, three days old each, with torn leather and not wearable for work.

I went through your lists of shoses and picked out what I thought were the Dockers like I have worn out. However when I got them they weren't the same so I sent them back FREE as you advertise and went to the list again. When I found the right ones I put them on and wore them all that day. They were just a little wide but a pad in them fixed the problem and I wear them about every day in complete comfort. They look like they can be worn anywhere, sports events, church, eating out, etc.

My first Dockers Haven Black was bought several years ago. It felt more comfortable than this replacement Dockers Haven Black. Both men's size 12. Unfortunately, Dockers doesn't make a wide sized Haven Black. This new one has shoe strings that continually became loose and must be re-tied. It does not have the same comfort feel of the earlier Haven Black. That tells me that the manufacturer-country probably changed.
