| | About Flat Heel: |
|---|
| | | Flat heel are shoes with a very low heel, and in some cases no heel at all, that provide minimal elevation. Flat heel shoes come in a variety of styles, including sandals, loafers, moccasins, oxfords, deck shoes, ballerina flats and boots. Flat heel shoes are generally considered comfortable footwear, mostly due to their flexible, lightweight soles and low heels, which provide stability. |

Good when you break them in
September 30, 2012
Reviewer: Amanda J. from Brooklyn, NY
I really like the color, style, and fit of this shoe - after you break them in. The 'lip' in the back doesn't do much for function and dug into my heel the first couple of times that I wore them - I started wearing them with thick socks until the pressure was gone, and now I can wear them sock-free. Generally comfortable to walk in, but if you're on your feet all day (like me - I'm a teacher) then your feet may swell a little by the end of the day and the pressure on the criss-crossing elastics becomes a little uncomfortable. For style and walking comfort, great, but for sustained on-your-feet support, I could only give it 3 stars.
