As soon as I opened the box, I knew the shoes were going back. They were black, not the navy blue I had hoped for. You can see only a slight bluish cast in very strong light. However, delivery was quick, and returning them unbelievably easy. Even though the shoes didn't work out, it was a good customer experience - so good that I am going to reorder a different shoe, one that is a better choice.

The seam across the toes puts too much pressure on one of the top of my fourth toe. My feet tend to be average across the ball of the foot with a narrow heel and very sensitive so others might not have this problem. I like the look of the shoe and it appears to have room for an orthotic which I need. Since I tried it on earlier in the day with thin socks,this issue is not fixable for me. The shoe will have to go back.

Since my youngest son is going into the 8th grade, he and his friends have started skating. My son asked me to buy him DC Skate Shoes. So I bought them, gave them to my son, and he loved it. The way it sticks to the skateboard is phenomenal and the design is great. I recommend to any young skaters looking for a good boost in their shoes.
