TPU, or Thermoplastic Urethane, is synthetic material used in the footwear industry to manufacture shoe outersoles and as an added compound on the midsole to prevent overpronation. TPU soles generally provide enhanced slip and abrasion resistance as well as durability.

I can't tie a shoelace so this sneaker is perfect for me. It uses a wire shoe lace and it can easily be tightened as much as you want with just a turn of the dial.. However I am concerned that it might malfunction which would make it useless. So far it's been great and I'm ready to buy another pair.
Wears this shoe: Whenever a sneaker is appropriate, almost all the time.
