The attached tongue portion and edging around the ankle is a light-blue and black plaid. The upper outer portion is shiny navy blue and the laces are red and navy plaid. The bottom is black with white around the bottom edge and a pinstripe of navy blue. Interesting and stylish without being obnoxious. There's no arch support and not much give inside so if you plan on wearing them for a while, add some memory foam insoles. My only real complaint is that on the left boot the seam where the shiny plastic meets the lower portion rubs my left ankle every once in awhile. It's not enough to bother me that much but it's irritating when it happens. The lack of insole and the rough seam that rubs makes me feel that the quality is a little lower than it should be. Hence the 3 stars vs. 5. Wears this shoe: Walking my dog or running errands while there's snow on the ground.
	Sorel Slimpack Pac Boot Practical winter boots! March 25, 2013 Reviewer: Inchik from Toronto, CA The fit is true to size and I have very narrow feet. This boot is a good "slim fit" option to the original Sorel fit, they do not overpower your look. The boots have a very soft lining inside, which makes them super comfy but not too warm, you will still need to wear a fairly warm sock with them if you want to stay warm on cold winter days. You can also wear these boots in Spring slush on a thin sock. I really like the color combination in these particular boots, goes well with a lot of pieces in my wardrobe. Overall I would definitely suggest these boots to anyone who needs a pair of practical winter boots and has thin to regular size feet. Wears this shoe: Winter/Spring slush
	The North Face Snowtropolis Lace Love these boots! March 25, 2013 Reviewer: BBMama from Boston, MA These boots are exactly what I was looking for--something stylish enough for the city, but practical enough to survive the cold and wet New England winters. These are very comfortable to walk around in, they have a nice soft sole. I will say that I have very narrow calves, and these boots fit me pretty snugly with a pair of jeans tucked in. If you have large calves, these might not be comfortable. Wears this shoe: Great for cold and snow.
	The North Face Iceflare Tall GTX Very pleased March 19, 2013 Reviewer: Ryan from Baltimore, MD Quality material and comfortable enough for everyday wear if desired. I work in emergency medicine and wore these boots to work for a 4 hour shift with the intention of hiking afterwards...well it ended up turning into 12 straight hours on my feet without a hint of discomfort. I've mucked around in them, worn them in snow/slush and the waterproofing is solid. I'm an 11.5 and these fit true to size although they seemed a bit snug on my toes the first day or two however that soon went away (maybe pressure on the toe area while boxed?) Overall very satisfied, when you spend over 90 dollars on a pair of boots you expect comfort and quality and these have delivered. As far as long term quality I can't make any statements as I've only had them about a month. Wears this shoe: Outdoor trekking mostly
