This boot is beautiful but the croc at the top is not leather though (the rest is). Also, the circumference is probably closer to 14 1/2 - 15 inches. I have VERY slender calves - around 14 inches - and they look good with dresses and aren't too loose. BUT I thought they'd be tighter. These are not as comfortable as the Sofft boots that I own with the same heel height but close enough and I'm wearing them right now in the office. It is around 3pm and my feet are just now started to feel the 3 inch heel (which by the way, the heel is 3 1/2 inches high with a 1/2 platform) for a 3 inch heel net - not 2 3/4 as stated in the description).

i love love these boots. they seem very narrow. but true to size otherwise. perfect height and so many compliments. the leather seems very durable and far from cheap. i love these boots and i am absolutely in love with shoebuy.com

Beautiful boot. Nice combination of leather and suede. While the heel looks high the platform makes this a very comfortable boot. The heel is wide enough to make this boot stable and easy to walk in.

I felt compelled to write this review after reading countless reviews (yes I like to research something before I buy) stating this shoe was incredibly narrow. I have wide feet and have found no problems with width whatsoever. I also own the earthies lintz boots, which did feel narrow... At first. After the third wear they have conformed to my feet and feel like heaven. I'm assuming this is to do with the high quality suede, which I have read is meant to be a little tight at first. All that being said, this is a wonderful, comfortable, gorgeous boot... I love earthies!!!

I bought this boot because it was versatile and didn't have any distinctive metal color on it, so I thought it would go with everything. The heel is not too high and I have bought Earth shoes before and they were very comfortable. I honestly wasn't sure if I would keep them because I wasn't sure if maybe they were too small. I'm normally not that indecisive - but the size 8 does fit pretty snug. Definitely not as comfortable as my other Earth shoes. Ultimately, I decided to keep them as I went to DSW and Macy's and couldn't find anything I liked any better. They are more wintery for sure - a brushed type of suede and fuzzy detail. They really are pretty cool on and I think my feet are getting used to them. The heel is also unique.
