| | | A Cuban Heel is a broad heel that is angled at the back, straight in the front, and tapers to a slightly narrower base. A Cuban heel is of moderate height and the base is fairly broad. Cuban heels are found on many styles of men's and women's shoes including boots, sandals, and pumps. A famous example of Cuban heels is the style of chelsea boots worn by the Beatles in the 60's. Cuban heels are sometimes referred to as Latin heels, as well. |

Always looking for a different kind of funky boot...these boots are it! Very cool! I do have a more athletic calf and always worry about the fit, but these are great!
