Ankle strap too big but shoe is beautiful
April 14, 2013

This is an absolutely beautiful shoe. It is so elegant. I so badly wish that I could wear it. I wear an 8.5 or a 9. The reasons I'm not wearing it is the ankle strap on the 9 was wayyyyyy too big. The 8.5 fit on the ankle but pushed my toes through the peep toe. The peep toe is so rough. You do not want you toes too tight on the peep toe part because it is so painful. I imagine it would really cut into your toes after a short time. The shoe would be perfect for girls with bigger ankles, I guess. The satin on the shoe is very delicate, so I don't think it would hold up very well, at least not in the white. They look like a one time wear kind of shoe. As it was, the 8.5 looked liked they had been tried on and returned one too many times. The white looked kind of dingy on this particular pair and the satin was kind of worn looking.Out of the box, brand new though, the shoe is gorgeous. Perhaps get it as a ceremony only shoe.

I received these shoes 2 days after ordering them online. I was excited to see that they were exactly what I wanted. They fit perfectly, they are comfortable, and I can't wait to wear them in June when I get married!

Good, solid shoe

I wasn't sure what to expect of a Dyeable shoe. I hadn't worn one since prom and that's been awhile! But the shoe was cute, fit pretty good, and after two coats of dye, looked pretty sharp. If you're dyeing the shoe yourself, tape off the soles, buckles, etc and you'll get a much better result.

Pretty but not for me

This is a very pretty and flattering shoe. However, the ankle strap kept falling down in the back no matter how tight I made it. Also, the shoe fabric in above the toes was frayed looking, it kind of made the shoe look fuzzy. It may have just been that pair though. Again the shoe is quite pretty and would flatter most feet regardless of the size. It just wasn't for me.
