I bought these for work since I'm a bartender & we're required to wear at least a 2" heel & open-toed. I'm either a 7.5 or 8 depending on the shoe & usually a normal width. I returned the 7.5 because I felt they were just a touch too small. I wore the 8's to work & was a little disappointed. The front squeezes my toes together & started to make them numb. The balls of my feet are usually the problem, but they weren't any better or worse with extra padding than other comfort shoes that I had.

This shoe works with skirts, pants and shorts. I normally wear a 7.5M in most shoes; however, this shoe seems to run long. Last year I went to a shoe store to have my foot measured and found I could take either a 7.5M or a 7W. Over the past 2 years I have purchased Sprig Break in 7.0M and 7.0W in both leather and suede. The suede stretches more than the leather. For me with this particular shoe, I think that the 7W provides the best fit.

I really like these sandals and will probably order more in the future. They're comfortable and add just that little bit of height some of us still crave, even when going casual. I downgraded a star because even though the sole is great and comfortable, I have concerns that the man-made upper material may not last more than a few seasons. A particularly great sandal for anyone who likes hard soles- there's very-little-to-no cushion, which I happen to like and the shoe makes up for with having toe imprints for additional comfort. Also, while these sandals fit me size wise, my foot still doesn't sit all the way back against the fabric, causing the fabric to crease a little at the heel. I think I can counteract that by putting a heel form stick-on there. An overall good sandal and a happy purchase, even if they don't last more than two seasons!
