Men's Dingo Engineer Pull on Boot Review

It's a decently styled boot designed for rough wear. The shoe is still new but it does look like it will deliver. My big disappointment was that it was not the lug soled shoe as in the ad's picture, which I would've preferred. Nevertheless, the sole's tread design does look that it could provide traction during bad weather, which is when I will be wearing it.

These boots are just what I expected. They seem very well made and feel comfortable. I like the style.

The boot I received is NOT the boot in the picture. The online image has a distinctly lugged sole, which is the reason I bought it. I wanted a tough boot that would comfortably carry me through rain and shine, through slick surfaces and gravel. Unfortunately, the boot that I received has a very smooth sole with minimal traction. The shaft is also VERY wide, which is to be expected for this kind of boot, but the online picture looks much sleeker. The shaft is so wide that my feet feel like they're going to slip out at every step, even with the front buckle fastened at the tightest notch. Shoebuy.com also shipped this boot in the Dingo box itself, without any additional packaging, so I hope the UPS dropoff will still accept it when I return these. Don't get me wrong--these still seem to be comfortable and durable boots. They're just not what I ordered.
