I bought this shoe to replace my old Rockports--could not find an attractive Rockport at the time (available models always change). They are very nice quality; bought them as a work and everyday shoe. Two downsides are much less cushioning for your feet, and insole fits oddly where it meets the back of the heel. It meets the heel and then extends around a quarter of an inch up the heel! It is a very sharp, 90 degree crease there (very odd). It fits uncomfortably at first. Then I did not notice it later. I suppose the quarter of an inch could be cut off. The insole was not misplaced inside. It actually fills the shoe and extends up the heel.

I love these shoes!! I have bad feet and was looking for a new pair of shoes that came in wide with. These shoes are nice and wide, they do run a little big but I would much rather that than it be too tight. They are very comfortable and I do not slide on the tile with the grips on the bottom. Highly recommend trying these shoe out!

I will start out by saying that I do really like these shoes. I work at a 5-Star hotel and in public view, but these shoes look great. The styling is very professional. Some might find them a bit too clunky (overall large), though. They are comfortable, and thus far have proved to be quite slip resistant. My two minor complaints are: 1)The laces seem overly thick. I think they should be a bit thinner, and a tad shorter. 2)They do seem to be just slightly oversized, but not enough for me to tick off the option that they are a half size large. They just seem loose overall compared to my other shoes of the same size. Going a size down would probably be too small.
