I bought these shoes for my son because he had to have slip resistant black shoes for his new job. He really likes to wear skate shoes and these were perfect since he also couldn't have any skating brand names on them. They fit him perfect and he said they feel great.

Poorly made sole

I bought these for my 8 year old son, thinking they would withstand a good amount of activity and wear. I soon discovered that what seemed to be a thick sole was actually constructed like a honeycomb, with regularly spaced hollows underneath a very thin layer of rubber sole. Once the thin layer wears away, the interior shoe bed is exposed. I am very disappointed with the poor (and deceptive?) construction of this shoe and would not recommend it to anyone.

I bought these shoes for my son who is 32 and very picky about what he wears on his feet due to "stones" which occur on the bottom of his feet from time to time. He could not be happier with the fit, feel and so far the quality of the shoe. The one draw back is how stiff they feel in walking at first, but hopefully this will pass with some wear.
Wears this shoe: To go anywhere more than a tennis shoe is needed for dress.

I recently ordered Men's Dickies Slip Resistant Skate Shoe Smooth Toe and received them very quick. The shoe is a very nice looking black leather shoe. This shoe really looks and feels like a very well made shoe. The fit was just right and pretty true to size and width. The only drawback I have encountered is the shoe being new is very stiff and will take a bit to break in but I anticipate once they are broken in they will be very comfortable. For the price, I don't feel you could go wrong with these shoes.I know I am a very satisfied customer.
Wears this shoe: I will wear these shoe daily as a casual shoe once they are broken in.

tight in the middle

These shoes were pretty good, but the they were a little tight in the middle. The arch supports were a little too high also. I don't have flat feet and they still seemed like they had too much arch!
Wears this shoe: A couple of hours at work......they hurt too much to wear all day!
