I was looking for brown boots (and these are decidedly not brown) but when I saw them, I loved the "flair" of those ties on the sides. They are gorgeous boots.When I zipped them up, they were VERY snug on my calf, (I had to urge the zipper) and I do not have heavy legs at all, so I would say if your calves are large, these boots will not work for you. They don't go under anything but a skirt. The ties get in the way of pants, of course (but I didn't think about that when I bought them). I plan to wear them with special outfits, maybe a jean skirt and such, or a dressy outfit in soft pale tans and whites. They will be "special" boots and not my everyday boots, that's for sure. But I wouldn't give them back. I love them.

I was attracted to the style as well as color of these boots! I was not disappointed once I received them! So comfortable and such great quality-the color is beautiful! Everyone stares when I wear these boots and they even stop me to tell me how great they look! Love,love,love them! Great purchase!
