This running shoe features a nylon Air Mesh upper with Supreltech overlays, a removable, anatomically shaped, shock absorbing, anti-bacterial EVA insole, a molded EVA midsole with Double Action II shock absorbing heel and forefoot inserts and a perforated Axeler CCB Power Flow (a midfoot bridge that prevents midfoot torsion and offers excellent lateral support and breathability) shank, and Axeler WI5 propulsion devices in the forefoot and heel for added cushioning, and an outsole with Axeler WI5 (a threadlike titanium frame inserted directly into the outsole), a blown rubber forefoot, and a Duratech 5000 abrasion resistant rubber heel.

I just received my Diadora Mythos 280 GB running shoe size 13 1/2 in the mail yesterday and I was quite surprised with the fit, size, style and comfort of the shoe. I normally wear Brooks, Nike and Reebok for my running. This is the first time I have purchased a Diadora product of any kind. It will not be the last. I purchased the Mythos 280 GB in the what I call the "electric gold" color. The color, style and comfort is totally awesome. I normally wear a size 14 in running and basketball shoes so when I ordered the 13 1/2, I was concerned that the fit might be to snug. To my surprise, I had plenty of room to spare in the size 13 1/2. For the past year I have watching Diadora running shoes hoping that they would make a shoe like this. They have delivered if every way. This is a shoe you must buy! Don't hesitate!
Wears this shoe: I will wear it here in Germany when the weather starts to break in April.
